1. Introduction

Welcome to OKEGAS (“we,” “our,” or “us”). OKEGAS is a Chrome extension that provides an all-in-one AI App Builder for Google Apps Script, featuring multi-model AI support, project templates, live preview, and publishing tools.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the OKEGAS extension accesses, how it is used, and your rights regarding your data. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

2. Information We Collect

OKEGAS does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. All data generated and used by the extension remains exclusively on your local device.

The extension may access or process the following types of information locally:

  • Google Apps Script project content that you work on within the extension
  • AI chat session histories per project, stored in your browser’s local storage
  • Your extension preferences and configuration settings
  • API keys or tokens you voluntarily enter for third-party AI services (stored locally only)

3. How We Use Your Information

All data accessed by OKEGAS is used solely to provide and improve the extension’s features on your device. Specifically:

  • Chat histories are stored locally to maintain session continuity across your Google Apps Script projects
  • Your settings and preferences are stored locally to personalize your experience
  • API keys you provide are stored locally and used only to authenticate requests to the AI services you choose to connect

4. Third-Party AI Services

OKEGAS allows you to connect to third-party AI providers to power its AI features. When you use these integrations, your prompts and inputs are sent directly from your browser to the respective service. We do not intermediate or store these communications.

Google Gemini

When you use the Google Gemini integration, your prompts are sent directly to Google’s Generative Language API. Please review Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy for details on how Google handles your data.

OpenRouter

When you use OpenRouter, your prompts are sent directly to OpenRouter’s API. Please review OpenRouter’s Privacy Policy at https://openrouter.ai/privacy for details.

Pollinations AI

When you use Pollinations AI, your prompts are sent directly to Pollinations’ API. Please review their website at https://pollinations.ai for details.

Opencode (Local)

OKEGAS supports connecting to a locally running Opencode headless API server on your own machine (port 4096). When using this feature, all communication stays entirely on your local device and does not leave your machine.

5. Data Storage

OKEGAS uses Chrome’s built-in local storage APIs (chrome.storage.local) to store data on your device. This includes:

  • AI chat session histories for each project
  • Extension settings and user preferences
  • Any API configuration you provide

The extension requests the unlimitedStorage permission to ensure that your chat history is never arbitrarily truncated, regardless of how many projects or sessions you accumulate over time. This storage is local to your browser and is never transmitted to our servers.

6. Host Permissions

OKEGAS requests access to specific domains to enable its features. These permissions are used as follows:

  • script.google.com — To inject the extension UI and interact with the Google Apps Script editor
  • generativelanguage.googleapis.com — To communicate with Google Gemini AI when you enable this integration
  • openrouter.ai — To communicate with OpenRouter AI when you enable this integration
  • gen.pollinations.ai — To communicate with Pollinations AI when you enable this integration
  • g4f.dev, g4f.space — To support additional AI model endpoints
  • api.baserow.io — To support backend data features used by the extension
  • okegas.app — To communicate with OKEGAS infrastructure for licensing and updates
  • localhost:4096, 127.0.0.1:4096 — To connect to a locally running Opencode server on your machine when you enable this optional feature

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal data with any third parties. We do not have access to the data stored locally on your device by the extension.

The only data that leaves your device is what you explicitly send to the third-party AI providers you choose to connect (as described in Section 4). Those interactions are governed by the respective provider’s privacy policy.

8. Data Security

Because all data processed by OKEGAS is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers, your data benefits from your device’s own security measures. We recommend keeping your browser and operating system up to date for the best security.

Any API keys you store within the extension are saved in Chrome’s local storage and are not accessible to other extensions or websites.

9. Children’s Privacy

OKEGAS is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the extension, please contact us at the email address below.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the extension’s features or applicable laws. When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Continued use of the extension after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
